Here we go again, another winter, another mistletoe season, and potentially lots to write about. I’m thinking about seedling biology, the phenomenal strength of mistletoe berry glue, existing and looming climate change and what that means for British mistletoe, media coverage (the good and the bad!) of mistletoe this year, the state of this year’s mistletoe harvest, the need for mistletoe control in orchards, etc etc. Whether I’ll get round to writing about all that or not we will see…
But firstly the usual snippets of info on regular mistletoe events, starting with the usual Tenbury Wells activities:
Tenbury Wells Mistletoe Auctions are on:
– Tuesday 24th November and
– Tuesday 1st December 2026
Both at Burford House Garden Centre, Burford, Tenbury Wells, WR15 8HQ.
The auctions begin about 10.00am, with Christmas trees etc, the mistletoe lots start at about 11.30.

Tenbury Wells Mistletoe Festival is taking place in:
The week beginning Monday 30th November, though the main event day will be Saturday 5th December.
Details are still to be confirmed but will include a Mistletoe Heart, being put together throughout November and added to as the month progresses.
